Broken Thumb

The other night, the girls and dad were having a tickle war when
suddenly CJ lurched backwards in pain.

Long story short - after a couple of doctor visits and an xray,
Courtney officially has a fractured thumb.

It's not all bad as the weather has turned really bad - at the moment
we're in the Margaret River Tavern, sitting next to the fire, doing a
jigsaw.

> The girls wanted to go camping - in the middle of winter - so we

Brooke's Broken Toe

Somehow Brooke managed to kick the door of her cupboard whilst running around or similar. The doctor says it is broken. Poor Brooke.

Big Storm

Today there was a huge storm in Perth. It caused millions of dollars damage. Just about everyone the girls know has had something damaged. Mum's house flooded, Dad's car is dented, Grandma and Pa's windows got smashed and their aircon blew up.

The girls were at Grandma and Pa's house when the storm came - apparently it was pretty scary, even more so when the windows smashed.

Brooke Turns Eight

Today was Brooke's 8th birthday. She had a wonderful day travelling from house to house gathering up her cuddles and presents. She is having a three day celebration with dinner tonight at Grandma and Pa's, a sleep over/movie party on Saturday and then dinner at Nana and Grandad's on Sunday. A big celebration!

I'm so happy,

I have my leader badge and I got my entertainers badge!

I got them last night at cub scouts. I'm going to show them at news today at school.

I also got a leadership certificate from last year. the last time I got it it had the wrong spelling on it. 

I have to go to school now. bye. Courtney

So, What's Going On

The girls are always busy.

CJ is "linking" between Cubs and Scouts at the moment, so she goes two nights a week for the next few weeks. Brooke is getting into being a Cub and is heading on her first camp this weekend.

Courtney has started learning how to play the guitar. Brooke wants to learn how to play the ukulele.

Everyone is worn out from Term 1 already.

More if we think of it.

The Muddle Up

On Sunday Dad drove up to Moore River to collect Courtney and some of her friends from a Scout camp. The only problem being that when Dad arrived, he couldn't find the scouts or their leaders.

For some reason - CJ had told everyone that Dad was in Melbourne... or Margaret River, we're not really sure.
